Médico de la Beneficencia y Asistencia Social. Nació en Santiago el 7 de noviembre de 1905. Se casó con Rebeca Bunster Tagle, con quien tuvo nueve hijos. Fue miembro de la Junta de Beneficencia de Santiago desde 1923 y, además, se desempeñó como tesorero de la Asociación Chilena de Asistencia Social.
